BKCM Chamber Music Program Application 2026-2027

This application is for both new and returning students to the BKCM Chamber Program. First-time applicants will be prompted to submit a video to complete their application. Once we have reviewed the application, you will also be asked to take part in a live audition. See below for more details. **Returning applicants will not need to submit a video or participate in a live audition, but must still complete this form.

The BKCM Chamber Program runs from October to May and occurs weekly for 24 weeks. Please indicate here all the possible times that work for you on a weekly basis. We encourage you to choose as many options as possible, Please note that chamber groups cannot be rescheduled or made up when missed, so it's important to choose times that you know will work in general.

Please indicate preferences for chamber musicians you would like to be placed with. Feel free to include specific members you would like to play with or describe the type of group and instrumentation you are hoping to connect with.

Financial Aid may be available for students in need who qualify. Requests for financial aid are on a first come first serve basis. We encourage you to apply early if financial aid is required.

Did you participate in the 2025-26 Chamber Music Program at BKCM?

New participants who want to join the BKCM Chamber Music Program are encouraged to submit a video so that we can assess your basic level and readiness to join a group. All new applicants will be required to attend a live audition as well, so the recording portion is optional but recommended.

Please upload a video of yourself playing a solo piece unaccompanied or with accompaniment that you play well. This is so we can assess your basic level and get an idea of where we might place you in the program.

Once we have reviewed your video we will invite you to join the live audition. See below for live audition options.
