We are mixing it up this year! As a 1-day event held in plenary style (all in one room), we want you to share as many amazing presentations and ideas as possible. Think "GIS goes TED". We have two presentation formats and we welcome traditional posters and digital (online) posters (including web applications) too!
Plenary Presentation Formats
Amazing Ideas and Demonstrations - 10 minute presentation.
Lightning Talks That Electrify Us - 5 minute presentation
We know these are short talks. We also know that you can wow us with amazing images, pithy thoughts, and well-coordinated brief demonstrations. For reference, most presentations use about 1 minute per slide. The average TED talk uses about 30 seconds per slide (we checked). For demonstrations, consider recording your demonstration so that you don't have to talk and manipulate a computer at the same time.
Don't have screen recording software? Here are some links to reviews for open source and paid tools:

And an open source one that runs on all OS's: https://recordly.dev/
Poster Formats
We will have our traditional poster gallery for printed materials. As in previous meetings, we will also have our virtual gallery in which you provide a brief description and a link (we will turn it into a QR code too) to your work.
Credit and Questions
All presenters will receive a certificate stating they gave a presentation for use in continuing education, accreditation, or certification.
