Barrie City Scape at night and Light Painting MINI Photography Workshop : October 8th, 2026

Thursday, October 8th

6:30-9pm.

You must have a tripod for this workshop and must know how to set your camera to Manual and set ISO, shutter and aperture. Everything else will be taught during the workshop. Please also bring warm clothing as it will be cool in the night as well as a flashlight so you can easily get around and do camera settings in mostly darkness.

We will photography the Barrie city scape during blue hour and then will spin a variety of light painting tools to practice different light painting effects for aprox. an hour.

A 24-70 (light painting) and a 70-200 (night scape) lens would be ideal, or something within that range

We will meet at the Barrie Southshore Centre. It is paid parking for anyone who is NOT a Barrie resident.

$50+hst.

These fee's are NON-REFUNDABLE if you are unable to attend the class unless I am able to fill your spot OR you can sell your spot to another photographer.

Tiffany Paradis Photography will ensure that the area is safe to use but you are responsible for your own safety during the workshop (ensuring proper footwear, a flashlight when moving around, etc). Any unsafe behaviour will result in being asked to leave the workshop.
