Bruno Delmaestro

Bruno Delmaestro has a strong background in skating, having been a three-time Italian National figure skating champion, European and world competitor, and a hockey player. He has been able to transfer this success to his coaching and has been training hockey players, figure skaters and coaches for the past 41 years. He has developed his own theory and methods for teaching hockey, ringette, and figure skating. He is currently a NCCP Level 4 Certified coach in Canada.

Bruno has coached many of his figure skaters to National and International medals, and world competitors. In 1999, 2001 and 2006 he was selected as the Competitive Coach of the Year for the British Columbia and Yukon Sections of Skate Canada. He has developed National champions in figure skating for Canada, Finland, Singapore and Hong Kong.

In hockey, Bruno has trained players who have been Drafted and have played in the N.H.L., Team Canada, European, and Asian hockey leagues, W.H.L., B.C.H.L.,NCAA as well as players who have been awarded university scholarships in North America. For 6 years, Bruno has trained Connor Bedard in skating, the 2023 #1 draft pick in the NHL. Bruno is also a Skate Canada Master CanPowerSkate Course Conductor and has worked with many different minor hockey associations who have used his skating programs.

POWER SKATING GROUPS:

Maximum 20 skaters per group, first come first served. Payment required to secure spot. Each group will receive 2 One Hour ice times. Wait List skaters will be contacted if a spot becomes available. Full hockey gear required, no exceptions. **PLEASE ONLY REGISTER YOUR SKATER IN 1 GROUP** Skaters May be switched groups at the clubs discretion. Schedule/Ice times may also change based on registrations, a final schedule will be emailed out to those registered prior to their sessions.
U7 GROUP (2 SESSIONS) Birth Year: 2020 ONLY **PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A LEARN TO SKATE PROGRAM, SKATER'S MUST HAVE 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN MINOR HOCKEY. I hereby certify that I am the parent/guardian of the above skater and hereby understand and agree to the following as included:

I give permission for my child to participate in the FSJFSC Power Skating sessions and agree that I/we will abide by FSJFSC & CITY OF FSJ rules and policies. I also agree to pay all monies owing to FSJFSC for the seminar. I am aware players will not be permitted on the ice if the monies are unpaid.

I agree to hold harmless and release FSJFSC & BRUNO DELMAESTRO for any liability for any personal loss, damage or injury of any kind that may be sustained by the skater in any manner while participating in Club activities. I further consent to any emergency procedures that may be deemed necessary by a licensed medical practitioner as a result of the player’s involvement in Club activities.

I give permission for the skater to be photographed, videotaped and/or included in publications or media coverage for promotion of the FSJFSC/BRUNO DELMAESTRO and skating sports.

Failure to abide by Club Rules and Regulations may result in revoking of membership by the Club Executive without refund.

REFUNDS: Should you require a refund, refunds will be given to those that have a conflict with a Minor Hockey scheduled tryout time and the skater's powerskating session. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER SEPTEMBER 21st, 2026. There will be no refunds for missed sessions. Requests for a refund must be emailed to powerskatingfsjfsc@gmail.com before September 21, 2026.

The schedule/ice times are subject to change. Any changes will be emailed out to all skaters who are registered.

FSJFSC will contact you with further information, schedule, etc. Each group is guaranteed 2 One Hour on ice sessions (2 hours total)
