Our mission is to preserve and celebrate cultural heritage is our youth-led Khmer "Amathak" (translated as ever lasting) Dance Troupe, a vibrant ensemble of young girls and boys who are honoring and perpetuating traditional Cambodian dance. Guided and trained by a young leader, Moragaut Souet-Samonn, with a passion for her cultural roots, this group embodies the spirit of youth leadership, artistic expression, and community healing.

The Khmer Amathak Dance Troupe offers a unique space where youth can explore and express their identities through the intricate and graceful movements of traditional Khmer dance. This practice is more than an art form. It is a pathway to healing and empowerment, fostering confidence and a profound appreciation for their heritage, and most of all honoring our artist ancestors whose lives perished during the genocide Khmer rouge. The dancers perform regularly at various events, showcasing the elegance and beauty of Apsaras, the celestial dancers of the goddess, with grace and pride.
