2026 Annual Dance Concert Terms and Conditions
Participation and Commitment
I understand that participation in Groove Dance and Cheerleading’s 2026 Annual Dance Concert is optional. However, by submitting and accepting these Terms and Conditions, I am committing my child or children to participate in the 2026 Annual Dance Concert.
I understand that Groove Dance and Cheerleading is not financially responsible for any costs associated with my child or children’s participation in the 2026 Annual Dance Concert.
I understand that I must submit and accept the 2026 Annual Dance Concert Terms and Conditions before my child or children can participate in the concert.
I understand that the applicable 2026 Annual Dance Concert fee must be paid for my child or children to participate.
I understand that once Groove Dance and Cheerleading receives my accepted 2026 Annual Dance Concert Terms and Conditions, all applicable fees and costs remain payable if my child or children withdraw from the concert. This includes dance tuition payable up to the concert date.
I understand that all tuition fees and other outstanding account balances must be paid before the 2026 Annual Dance Concert.
I understand that the 2026 Annual Dance Concert fee will not be reduced, credited, or discounted if my child or children do not attend scheduled rehearsals.
I confirm that I have read and agree to follow all requirements, instructions, and conditions outlined in the 2026 Annual Dance Concert Information Book.
I understand that Groove Dance and Cheerleading applies its policies consistently to all families and that exceptions cannot be guaranteed.
Enrolment and Account Responsibility
I understand that each student must be enrolled under one nominated parent or guardian’s Groove Dance and Cheerleading account.
I understand that the parent or guardian listed as the account holder is solely responsible for all fees and charges associated with the student’s enrolment and participation, regardless of any private custody, parenting, financial, or payment arrangements.
I understand that Groove Dance and Cheerleading will not divide invoices, split fees, maintain separate accounts, or collect partial payments from different parents or guardians for the same student.
I understand that Groove Dance and Cheerleading is not a party to any custody, parenting, financial, or payment dispute between parents or guardians and will not become involved in determining how costs should be shared.
I understand that Groove Dance and Cheerleading will not pursue payment from another parent, guardian, family member, or third party on behalf of the account holder.
I understand that any reimbursement or contribution sought from another parent or guardian is a private matter and does not affect the account holder’s responsibility to ensure that all fees are paid in full and on time.
I understand that my Groove Dance and Cheerleading account must have a balance of $0 or be in credit before an enrolment cancellation or notice can be finalised through Dance Studio Pro.
I understand that all students enrolled at Groove Dance and Cheerleading must be registered for automatic payments by direct debit and that all account fees must remain up to date.
I understand that Groove Dance and Cheerleading is not responsible for paying or reimbursing any late fees, dishonour fees, or other charges imposed by a financial institution or payment provider.
I understand that if payments fail to process for three consecutive weeks because of insufficient funds, any discounts applied to my account may be suspended until all outstanding amounts have been paid and the account has been brought up to date.
I understand that discounts are a privilege provided to accounts that remain current and in good standing and are not guaranteed while payments are overdue.
I understand that if my account falls more than three weeks into arrears, Groove Dance and Cheerleading may suspend discounts, memberships, unlimited-class benefits, photo orders, concert merchandise, and other optional products or services until the account has been brought up to date.
I understand that any outstanding balance may be referred to a debt collection agency if payment is not made.
I understand that if my account is referred to a debt collection agency, I may also be responsible for reasonable costs associated with recovering the debt, including collection fees and applicable court costs, where legally recoverable.
Ticket Refunds
I understand that tickets are non-refundable and that Groove Dance and Cheerleading, Maitland Town Hall, and any associated third party cannot provide refunds once tickets have been purchased, except where required by law.
Membership Rates and Additional Fees
I understand that a locked-in membership rate applies to tuition fees only.
I understand that additional charges, including 2026 Annual Dance Concert fees, uniform costs, event fees, merchandise, and third-party charges, are separate from tuition fees and may change.
I understand that some additional fees may be outside the control of Groove Dance and Cheerleading.
Tuition, Attendance, and Make-Up Lessons
I understand that normal tuition fees remain payable when a student is absent from an enrolled class.
I understand that refunds or tuition credits will not be provided because of non-attendance.
I understand that make-up lessons are available to assist students in replacing missed learning time and may be arranged through the studio website at groovedance.com.au.
I understand that when a scheduled lesson falls on a public holiday, normal tuition fees remain payable and the student may arrange an alternative lesson on another available day.
I understand that when Groove Dance and Cheerleading cancels a class, tuition will not be charged for that class, or any payment already received will be applied as a credit to the student’s account.
I understand that class-change requests must be submitted by email to groovedanceandcheer@gmail.com so that invoices and direct-debit amounts can be adjusted.
I understand that current class fees remain payable until Groove Dance and Cheerleading has received and processed the written notice.
Backstage Access and Early Collection
I understand that only approved supervisors, Groove Dance and Cheerleading staff, and participating students are permitted backstage or within designated student holding areas.
I understand that parents, guardians, family members, and other unauthorised individuals are not permitted backstage or within designated student holding areas under any circumstances.
I understand that these restrictions are in place to protect the safety, privacy, and supervision of all students and to allow rehearsals and concerts to operate safely and without disruption.
I understand that collecting a student before their scheduled finish time requires the entire rehearsal or concert to pause while Groove Dance and Cheerleading completes all required safety, supervision, and student sign-out procedures.
I understand that rehearsals and concerts cannot be repeatedly interrupted to accommodate unplanned early collections for individual students.
I understand that any request for early collection must be arranged in advance by emailing groovedanceandcheer@gmail.com at least 24 hours before the relevant rehearsal, concert, or concert-related event.
I understand that unplanned early-collection requests will not be accommodated except in a genuine emergency.
Rehearsal and Concert Setup and Pack-Up
I understand that I must not interrupt or interfere with the setup or pack-up of any rehearsal, concert, or concert-related event.
I understand that Groove Dance and Cheerleading’s teaching staff work within an extremely limited timeframe during rehearsals and concerts and are unable to stop their assigned duties to answer questions or hold discussions with parents or guardians.
I understand that teaching staff must remain focused on their designated roles and responsibilities to ensure the safety of students and the efficient operation of the rehearsal or concert.
I understand that questions or concerns should be submitted by email to groovedanceandcheer@gmail.com rather than raised with teaching staff during setup, rehearsals, concerts, or pack-up.
I understand that Groove Dance and Cheerleading will respond to messages as soon as reasonably practicable; however, responses may be delayed during busy concert and rehearsal periods.
