  • 中國人忠孝倫理、慎終追遠的精神，在現代的工商社會中仍然意義深遠，所以清明節在中國人心中是相當重要的節日。在佛法中的清明法會，是秉著慈悲濟世的精神，發揚忠孝倫理的觀念，藉佛、法、僧三寶的慈悲加持及與會大眾誦經、懺悔、發願的清淨功德，迴向先靈超生淨土，陽上增福增慧、社會安詳、世界和平。

    The Ancestors Memorial Service is held in observation of Qingming, a time associated with tomb sweeping in China. While this tradition originates from the Chinese, it became a time for families to come to the temple and cultivate in memory of their ancestors under the influence of the Buddhists. 

    During the service, we dedicate all the merits and virtues generated from the repentance of our actions to the memory of our loved ones in view of everything they have done for us. Through these merits, we hope that they may encounter Buddhism in future lives and ultimately attain awakening.
