Momentum has hosted a different juror for each exhibition over the past 22 years. That juror will make decisions regarding which pieces are accepted and which are not. Entries are made anonymous during the jurying process to ensure there is no bias. Decisions made by the juror are based on their personal opinions and vision for the show. The theme of the exhibition is Works of Growth and Recovery.
We are proud to share your work and stories and use this information, not only to help you gain recognition as an artist, but also to get sponsorship and support for our show and Momentum as a whole. Entry into this competition acknowledges that you will be identified as an artist living with a disability within the exhibition materials and event.
By submitting your application, you are authorizing CSA/Momentum to use any provided biographical information, artist statement and images taken of you and/or your artwork for promotional purposes if we choose to do so. We will not release any contact information unless otherwise agreed upon.
Community Support Advocates and the Momentum Art Program will take reasonable care in handling and displaying all entries, however, we are not responsible for any damages or missing items. Artists are responsible for providing their own insurance on all entered works. Artists are responsible for picking up their work following the exhibition during the designated times. Art that is not picked up within 6 months of the exhibition will become property of Community Support Advocates.
By checking the box you acknowledge that all works entered are yours and are original concepts and ideas.
