Please read the below top tips for choosing the best types of images:
- Selfies - the best selfies have everyone's face fully in the photo - no cropped foreheads or ears! Avoid images with red eye.
- Try to make sure the focus of your image is as central as possible - we need to crop and curl the edges of photos so any details on the sides may get chopped off!
- If you have the original photo file - brilliant! The bigger the files size, the clearer the print quality. Please avoid using screenshots or cropping images before sending them - we can do this and it helps keep the images as clear as possible
- We find portrait images easier to work with than landscape images although can usually work with nearly any type!
- Please make sure your image is either a digital copy or a scanned version of the photograph uploaded to your computer - photos of photographs can appear distorted if not taken at the right angle!
- Colour - The colour of your rose comes primarily from the background colours in your photo/s so an image with a lot of blue sky will give a mainly blue rose. A rose made from multiple images will give a unique mixture of all the background colours in each image.
- Group Shots - We find long landscape group shots the most tricky to work with, often needing to split them across multiple petals or cropping in to a few select people, so take this in to consideration when choosing your photo
