Join us and others with culturally and Biblically inquisitive minds this Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. at our new beautiful Magna Deo Center for the Biblical Arts and Education in Ashland, as we begin a three week journey exploring Art & Christianity with Rogue Valley teacher, film maker, and Youtube commentator Gabriel Morgan, exploring Art and Christianity. "How does art serve the kingdom of God? This three-part series is a deep dive exploration into finding the answers to the hard questions in the hearts of every Christian seeking the value and importance of art. As a foundation, we’ll define art and determine what truly makes something “beautiful”. Next, we’ll discuss the impact art has had in church history and explore the beauty and complexity found in the nature of God’s creativity. Instructor Gabe Morgan has enjoyed drawing and playing music ever since he was a young boy and he's endeavored painting, photography, graphic design and filmmaking, which is his creative passion. He is a full time teacher of graphic design, digital photography and yearbook at a local high school.  He serves as a deacon at Bear Creek Church in Medford, Oregon and deeply cares about the arts, studying scripture and reading various books to gain a better understanding of how God perceives and wants His children to perceive and create art.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjBG7Q6o4hs
