Join Citation Needed for our second year of PS 19 Bookmakers Club! This workshop series invites children to become artists, authors, designers, publishers, and entrepreneurs. Rooted in experimentation, collaboration, and arts-based literacy, our weekly studio classes offer 3rd–5th graders opportunities to explore book arts, printmaking, comics, and other interdisciplinary art forms while making original publications together.

Pick-up is at 4:15pm. We are considering offering an extended studio option for children who would like extra time or families who need a slightly later pick-up. This would be offered from 4:15-4:45pm for an additional $15, with 10 spots available.

Four partial, needs-based scholarships are available. Please complete this scholarship form to apply. We are actively working on increasing this programs accessibilty by exploring a range of funding support options, thank you for your patience and understanding.
We are looking at adding an additional class on Wednesdays in January 2027. This could either be a more process-based sculpture class or an additional work session for Monday Bookmakers students.
