  • Program Agreements

    Each participant in the Western Conservation Leadership Development Program (WCLDP) is required to make the following agreements to ensure the success and safety of themselves, the other participants, and program support team, including facilitators.
  • I agree to get the best possible results from WCLDP by being: a. committed to the work, b. willing to be transparent and open, and c. responsible for my own learning and asking for support as I need it.*
  • I agree to take responsibility for how I show up during the training and my own emotional state.*
  • I agree that if I have any issue or problem with the Program, I will responsibly communicate only to the person who can resolve that issue. If an emergency arises at any time, I agree to communicate directly with the Program Manager, Ali Duvall, or another support team specialist.*
  • Terms, Conditions, and Non-Disclosure Agreement

    To fully experience and gain the most benefit from WCLDP, I understand the following: We are committed to providing all training participants with an effective training experience. Thus, Program authorities may, at their sole discretion, limit, suspend, or terminate participation in WCLDP without refund or forgiveness under the following scenarios. Please acknowledge these terms.
  • a. You create harmful, threatening, verbal, or other psychological harassment or experiences for anyone in the Program, including facilitators, coaches, and fellow participants; or, b. You fail to follow Program agreements and guidelines in a way that intentionally impacts the entire cohort's training experience.*
  • Privacy and Confidentiality

    We respect your privacy and ask that you respect the privacy of fellow participants, as well as confidential and proprietary information, ideas, plans (collectively, "Confidential Information"). You are free to discuss your individual results from the Program and training, and we ask you to keep the experiences of your fellow participants in the strictest of confidence. Please acknowledge your agreement to these requests below.
  • That any Confidential Information shared by Program participants or any representative of WCLDP is confidential and proprietary, and belongs solely and exclusively to the Participant who discloses it during the training.*
  • Not to disclose such information to any other person or use it in any manner other than in discussion with other participants during the training sessions.*
  • That all materials and information provided to you by WCLDP are proprietary intellectual property belonging solely and exclusively to the facilitators, and associated trademarks may only be used by you as authorized by WCLDP.*
  • The reproduction, distribution, and sale of Program materials by anyone but the WCLDP is strictly prohibited.*
  • That if you violate, or display any likelihood of violating, any of your agreements contained in the terms above, WCLDP and/or other participant(s)will be entitled to pursue legal actions.*
  • Content

    All materials, procedures, policies, standards, manuals, teaching aids, and the like that have been or will be made available by WCLDP or its designated facilitators, or any other source, oral or written, are for individual use in or in conjunction with this training program only. The training experience is for participants only, and will not be sold, tape recorded, videotaped, shared, or otherwise divulged.

  • Use of Name and Photo (Media Release)

    We will ask your permission to use your name or testimonial in any publications or promotional material that communicates about your individual experience. Your consent, if given, will be granted to WCLDP and extends to such use without restriction and limitation as to time and geographic boundary. We may photograph or video participants (without sound) during training sessions. You consent to the use of your photo as a participant for educational, promotional, and non-commercial purposes.

  • Release

    The WCLDP is a Program of the WYldlife Fund. We are providing you the opportunity to participate in this Program. Your participation in the Program is at your own risk. We ask that you acknowledge that the WYldlife Fund is not, nor will it ever be, liable to you as a participant in any way or responsible for any dispute that arises between you and other participants.
  • The participant hereby releases the WYldlife Fund and WCLDP, their affiliates, respective officers, board members, employees and contracted staff, coaches, attorneys, agents, subsidiaries, joint ventures, and their respective successors and assigns from claims, demands, and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with any dispute the Participant has with another participant in the program, whether it be at law or in equity. This release include, for example, and without limitation, any disputes regarding performance, functions, and quality of services provided by the Program and requests for refunds based upon disputes.*
  • Training Transfer/Cancellation Policy

    Please read and acknowledge the following policies.
  • In planning for this training, we incur substantial costs to execute all aspects of the course. Therefore, the following fees apply:

    Transfer of Date with Fee: None

    Cancellation Fee: None

    Transfer of Date with Fee: 25% of Tuition

    Cancellation Fee: 75% of Tuition

    Number of Days Before the Program: 1-15 days

    Transfer of Date with Fee: Prohibited

    Cancellation Fee: 100% of Tuition

    Transfers: Registrations may be transferred to future courses as long as the request is made >30-15 days before the start of the course with a maximum 25% fee for the transfer; the balance of the tuition payment will be held and used to assist with costs for the individual’s participation in a future course. Agencies and organizations may request permission from the Program Manager to transfer registrations to other staff members. No transfer requests can be made 1-15 days before the course or during the course.

    Cancellations: Training participants may cancel their registrations before the course at either no penalty (more than 30 days in advance); 75% of the cost of the registration (15-30 days in advance); or 100% of the cost of registration (1-15 days in advance). No payments will be returned for individuals who are not able to complete the training.

  • Government Shutdown Procedure

    Our goal is to avoid timelines that might prevent government employees from attending the course due to a potential government shutdown. During the unforeseen chance that this situation arises, we will continue with the course due to the investments in course planning, contracts, and associated venue arrangements.
