Official Rules & Regulations for Cook off
Please read all rules carefully before registering.
-Contestants may prepare any meat of their choice on-site (examples include chicken, pork, beef, rabbit, deer, etc.).
-Contestants cooking gravy are responsible for providing their own rice.
-Each team must prepare enough food to serve approximately 100 tasting portions.
-Each team must provide:One (1) 10' x 10' tent, appropriate sanitation supplies
and any equipment needed for cooking.
-Entry Fee $50 if prepaid, $60 the day of the event
-Check-in begins at 9:00 AM on Saturday, September 19, 2026.
-Cooking may begin at 10:00 AM.
-Judging samples must be ready by 3:00 PM. Judges will collect samples at that time.
-Public tasting begins at 3:15 PM. Wristbands are required for tasting. Bowls and -utensils will be provided to attendees.
-Propane or butane burners and camp stoves are permitted.
-Each team must provide three (3) sample cups for judging.
-Contestants are responsible for keeping their cooking area clean throughout the event.
-Awards will be presented at approximately 4:00 PM.
-Teams are responsible for securing and removing all personal belongings and equipment.
-All booths and cooking areas must be completely cleaned and vacated by 6:00 PM.
