Ebike Cape Town – E-Bike Rental Information & Conditions

🚵 Our rental bikes: Giant Fathom E+ 3 Hardtail E-Mountain Bikes.

📄 Rental Agreement

To complete the rental agreement, please provide a copy of your passport or ID.

🗺️ Planned Route

Please let us know your intended cycling route(s) when submitting your booking request.

🔒 Security

No deposit is required. However, we will retain your passport or ID for the duration of the rental and return it when the bike is returned.

📍 Bike Collection & Return

Bikes can be collected from our office:

Unit 23, Foregate Square Business Park

🕗 Collection: From 08:00

🕓 Return: No later than 16:00

Directions:

Heerengracht Street – pass underneath the two elevated N2 highway bridges, continue along the road as it bends to the right, and you will find the entrance to Foregate Square Business Park on your right.

🚚 Bike Delivery (Optional)

If you would like the bike(s) delivered, simply enter your delivery address in the Comments section of the booking request form, and we will provide you with a delivery quotation.

⚠️ IMPORTANT

•⁠ ⁠You are fully responsible for the e-bike and its accessories for the entire duration of the rental.

•⁠ ⁠Ebike Cape Town accepts no liability for any injury, accident, loss or damage caused to yourself, other persons, or third-party property during the rental period.

•⁠ ⁠The bikes may not be used for races, competitions, bike parks or downhill tracks.

•⁠ ⁠Our Giant Fathom E+ 3 bikes are cross-country electric mountain bikes and are intended for use on roads, gravel roads and normal off-road trails only.

•⁠ ⁠Maximum rider weight: 105 kg.

•⁠ Minimum rider age: 16 years (for riding on public roads).

A secure YOCO payment link for credit card payment will be provided.

YOCO accepts VISA, MasterCard, and American Express (credit and debit cards).

Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Ebike Cape Town, we understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, leading to the need for cancellation or rescheduling of a tour or rental.

Our refund policy below outlines the conditions based on the timeframe before your scheduled departure or rental start.

We aim to offer flexibility while still being able to adjust availability for other guests.

To secure your booking, full payment is required at the time of reservation.

Refund Policy 21 days or more before the scheduled tour/rental: Eligible for a full refund, excluding bank charges.

Between 21 days and 7 days before the scheduled tour/rental: Eligible for a 75% refund.

Within 7 days of the scheduled tour/rental: No refund will be issued.
