    We are Fourth-Year Psychology students from the University of Caloocan City – Main Campus, currently conducting our undergraduate research entitled “The Differences in Masturbatory Tendency of High-Frequency Facebook Users Among Gay, Bisexual Male, and Lesbian Young Adults in Metro Manila.”

    This study aims to examine the differences in masturbatory tendency among gay, bisexual male, and lesbian young adults who are considered high-frequency Facebook users. Through the findings of this study, we hope to contribute to the growing body of research on human sexuality and social media use while fostering a deeper understanding of the diverse experiences of young adults within the LGBTQIA+ community.

    Purpose of the Study
    You are being asked to participate in a research study that explores the psychological dimensions of sexual behaviors, specifically focusing on masturbatory tendencies, impulse control, and triggers for sexual urges.

    The study aims to contribute to the growing body of research on human sexuality and social media use by fostering a deeper understanding of the diverse experiences of young adults within the LGBTQIA+ community. 

  • Confidentiality and Data Protection
    Your privacy will be strictly protected. This survey is anonymous, which means that the researchers will not intentionally collect your name, email address, or any other information that may directly identify you.

    All information collected will be handled in accordance with Republic Act No. 10173, also known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012. Form responses will be protected using the encryption and security measures provided by the survey platform. Access to the collected data will be limited to the authorized researchers and their research adviser.

    Your responses will be kept confidential and will only be used for research and academic purposes. The results will be presented in summarized form, and no individual participant will be identified in any report or presentation.
