• Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas 2026 & 2027

    Thank you for your interest in entering Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas crafting competitions. We are currently casting for both the 2026 and 2027 series. Please submit a completed form by Sunday 6th September 2026.
  • PROGRAMME ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

    1. The applicant must be at least 16 years of age and must be a permanent legal resident in the United Kingdom, Channel Islands, Isle of Man or Republic of Ireland. 2. Neither the applicant nor their partner: a) Can be a current or previous employee of us or of Channel 4. b) Can be a live-in partner or immediate relative (i.e. mother, father, son, daughter, brother or sister) of an employee or previous employee of us or of Channel 4. c) Can have appeared on Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas in the past. Applicants should be aware that the competitions, and those selected to take part, will be filmed as part of the Channel 4 series ‘Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas’. All applications will be reviewed, and successful applicants will be selected in advance of filming by the production team. To be considered please complete this application form and submit photos of yourself and previous crafting work. Please be aware that Competitors must be aged 16 or over on the day of filming. Applicants aged 16 or 17 will require consent from parent(s) or legal guardians and a chaperone for filming. If you have any questions please email christmas@raisetheroofproductions.com.

  • Kirstie’s Christmas Craft Competitions – Rules GENERAL COMPETITION RULES

    1. Images and details supplied will be shared with the broadcaster, Channel 4, solely for the purpose of this programme.

    2. The competition is open to competitors aged 16 and over on the day of filming. Competitors aged 16 or 17 will need permission from parents or legal guardians and will need to be accompanied to filming by a parent or legal guardian.

    3. Applicants may apply to enter more than one category.

    4. Competitors must be a permanent legal resident in the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man or Republic of Ireland.

    5. Competitors must supply their own tools and materials. RTRP Ltd cannot reimburse participants for any craft tools, materials or ingredients you purchase for your entry.

    6. Competitors are responsible for ensuring that all tools, material and equipment they bring to the competition are safe, suitable for use and comply with applicable health and safety requirements. RTRP Ltd reserves the right to prohibit the use of any item it considers unsafe or unsuitable.

    7. All competitions are timed. You will have time allocated to make, decorate, and stage your entry on the day of the competition. Exact timings will be at the production company’s discretion, and competitors will be advised in advance of the day of the competition.

    8. Entries must be the competitor’s own design and work. Competitors retain ownership of their designs. By entering the competition, competitors grant RTRP Ltd and Channel 4 a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to film, photograph, reproduce and broadcast their entries in connection with the programme and its promotion.

    9. RTRP Ltd reserves the right to remove any competitor from the filming and/or the competition if their behaviour is deemed unsafe, disruptive, abusive, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate.

    10. RTRP Ltd.’s decisions regarding eligibility, participation and competition administration are final. The independent fjudge’s decision regarding competition results is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

    11. A token prize will be awarded on the day of the competition. If the winner is not able to accept the prize for any reason, no substitute will be provided.

    12. Competitors must provide RTRP Ltd with as much information about their intended design as possible prior to filming. Competitors must outline all proposed design elements to ensure they are suitable for broadcast and to allow time for clearances to be made if required.

    13. Competitors must notify RTRP Ltd of any changes to their competition design before the date of the competition.

    14. Competitors may not approach, or accept any offers from, any brands regarding use of products in their entry. Competitors must not make any promises about what will or will not be featured in the series. Any past, existing or intended relationship with a brand or their products must be disclosed to the production team.

    15. RTRP Ltd reserves the right to disqualify any competitor who breaches these rules, provides false or misleading information or otherwise acts contrary to the spirit of the competition.

    16. Any changes to these rules will be communicated to Competitors by RTRP Ltd in advance of the competition.

    17. Entries received after midnight on Sunday 6th September 2026 may not be considered for the 2026/2027 competitions.

    18. Submission of an application does not guarantee participation. Competitors who are selected to participate in the competition will be notified by phone/email by a member of the production team. If RTRP Ltd is unable to contact you, an alternative entrant will be selected in your place.

    19. RTRP Ltd reserves the right to cancel the competition at any time if it deems such cancellation to be necessary. No prize will be awarded if the competition is cancelled.

    20. RTRP Ltd shall not be liable for any delay, postponement, cancellation or alteration of the competition caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

    21. Competitors consent to RTRP Ltd and Channel 4 using their name, image, likeness, voice and comments relating to the competition and programme for publicity, marketing and promotional purposes worldwide in any media without additional compensation.

    22. Personal information supplied will be processed by RTRP Ltd and Channel 4 for the purposes of administering the competition, producing the programme and related promotional activities in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and the relevant privacy notices.
