RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Stein Holding Competition and/or Pretzel Toss ("the Activities") at Oktoberfest 2026, held September 25–27, 2026 at Cabarrus Brewing Co. in Concord, NC, I agree to the following:

Assumption of Risk.

I understand that participation in the Activities involves inherent risks and I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation.
Release of Liability. I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, and assigns, hereby release, waive, and discharge Cabarrus Festivals, Cabarrus Brewing Co., and their respective owners, officers, employees, volunteers, and sponsors from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury that may be sustained by me while participating in the Activities.

Physical Condition. I certify that I am in good physical condition and have no medical condition that would prevent my safe participation in the Activities.
Age Requirement. I certify that I am at least 18 years of age (21+ for events involving alcohol).

Medical Treatment. I consent to receive medical treatment deemed necessary in the event of injury during the Activities.
I have read and agree to the Release and Waiver of Liability above.
I certify that I am at least 18 years of age (21+ for the Stein Holding Competition).
I grant Cabarrus Festivals permission to use photos and video of me taken during the event for promotional purposes.
