HOW IT WORKS?
Restaurants/consumers will nominate Texas restaurants serving outstanding pork chops. A judging panel will review all eligible nominations and select the Top 10 Finalists. Finalists will receive mystery judge visits, with pork chops evaluated using the official judging criteria to determine the 2026 Best Pork Chop in Texas. All finalists will receive an official window decal, digital finalist badge, and statewide recognition through Texas Pork media channels. The Overall Winner will earn the title of Best Pork Chop in Texas, receive a custom championship plaque and engraved chef's knife, be featured in statewide media and promotional campaigns, and serve as an official Texas Pork Chef Ambassador.
