Please use this form to propose secondary meetings for review by the ISEV Meetings and Programs Committee and ISEV Board. Submitters may be asked to provide additional information after submission. Proposals are subject to change. All ISEV Specialized Meetings and Workshops are overseen by the Meetings and Programs Committee in conjunction with the Board of Directors.

ISEV Meetings are typically chaired by 2-3 individuals, with an organizing committee of 2-6 members.

Meeting Title

Specialized Meetings are events focused on specific themes within or overlapping with the EV field. These in-person or virtual meetings bring together a few hundred EV researchers from academic, clinical, or industrial background and feature plenary talks, oral and poster sessions, and networking opportunities.

Workshops are small meetings of approximately 40-50 participants that feature overviews and short talks. The major focus is on the roundtable discussions where burning questions & challenges relating to the state-of-the-art in the thematic field are discussed. Based on these discussions, products such as position papers, outreach strategies, regulation/policy strategies are developed.

ISEV prefers to host meetings at academic institutions rather than hotels to minimize costs. Meetings must have a breakeven budget. Secondary meetings and workshops are typically held in autumn (September-November). Venues should have a lecture classroom or theater to accommodate up to 200 attendees, function space to accommodate up to 50 poster boards, coffee breaks and lunch for attendees, and function space to accommodate meeting sponsors.
