Do you have a topic relevant to church leaders today that sparks conversation? We are looking for leaders for our upcoming Roundtable Conversations to get the conversation started. The purpose of these conversations is to engage the collective wisdom and wonderings of the leaders gathered - not to provide solutions. Conversations are 1 hour in length and held on Zoom.
Here's what we imagine:
- Leader presents for about 10 minutes on their topic. You don't have to be an expert on it - just set the stage for conversation.
- A NEXT Church leader creates space for conversation - both as a whole group and breakout rooms.
- The leader wraps the conversation up with concluding thoughts and questions to keep people thinking about the topic after the hour is done.
Here's how you submit an idea you want to lead:
- Create a Short and Clear Title
- Write a 1-2 sentence description of your idea.
- Give us your name and brief bio so we have a general sense of your context.
Roundtables are free and flat conversations, therefore leadership is offered in the spirit of collegiality and shared purpose. These conversations should not be used to sell products or services.
Topics will be selected on a rolling basis and as space in our schedule allows. Roundtables occur about once a month.
