Youth Ambassador Program Information
Thank you for your interest in becoming a Youth Ambassador with Keep Pensacola Beautiful!
The Youth Ambassador program is designed for high school students (grades 9–12) who want to make a positive impact in their community through service, leadership development, and environmental awareness. Ambassadors will have opportunities to participate in community projects, learn more about nonprofit work, develop leadership skills, and connect with other students who are passionate about making a difference.
Program Meetings
The Youth Ambassador program will begin with an in-person Welcome Meeting on:
Saturday, September 19, 2026
Time: 9:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Location: To Be Announced
This meeting will provide students and families an opportunity to meet KPB staff, learn more about the program, review expectations, and prepare for the year ahead.
Following the Welcome Meeting, Youth Ambassador meetings will be held virtually through Zoom approximately every six weeks on Saturday mornings from 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. Meeting dates and Zoom information will be shared with selected ambassadors.
Community Events & Service Opportunities
Throughout the program, Youth Ambassadors will have opportunities to participate in community service projects, volunteer activities, and other events that support Keep Pensacola Beautiful’s mission.
Event details will be shared with ambassadors as opportunities become available.
Parent/Guardian Participation
A parent or guardian is required to attend the September 19 Welcome Meeting with their student.
Additionally, at least one parent or guardian must attend all in-person Youth Ambassador events with their student. This requirement helps support student safety, keeps families informed, and allows parents and guardians to be active partners in their student’s community involvement.
Participation Expectations
Youth Ambassadors are expected to:
- Attend scheduled Zoom meetings
- Participate in service opportunities and community projects
- Communicate with KPB regarding attendance or scheduling conflicts
- Represent Keep Pensacola Beautiful in a positive and respectful manner.
We understand students and families have busy schedules. We appreciate open communication and encourage ambassadors to take advantage of the opportunities available throughout the program.
We look forward to welcoming our 2026-2027 Youth Ambassadors and working together to create a cleaner, greener, and stronger community!
