Caregiver Agreement

I understand that participation in the Girl Scout Product Programs (Fall Product Program and Girl Scout Cookie Program) is a privelege that teaches Girl Scouts valuable life skills including goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and buisness ethics.
By signing below, I agree to the following:
Financial Responsibility
- I accept full financial responsibility for all product issued to my Girl Scout.
- I understand that all product received is considered sold to my family and is nonreturnable.
- I agree to submit all money collected from customers by the deadlines established by my troop and Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan.
- I understand that failure to submit payment may result in collection efforts and may affect my Girl Scout's ability to participate in future Product Programs.
Product Handling
- I will keep all products secure and in good condition until delivered to customers.
- I will accurately count all products when received and immediately notify my troop leader of any discrepancies.
- I understand that products ordered for fulfilment to customers is my responsibility and nonreturnable and not eligible for exchange.
Program Participation
- I will support my Girl Scout in conducting herself in a safe, honest, and respectful manner while participating in the Product Programs.
- I will follow all Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan Product Program guidelines and safety requirements.
- I understand that products may not be sold through unauthorized online marketplaces, garage sale sites, auction websites, or other prohibited social media sales platforms.
- I understand that product sold through my personal social media pages or through text may be done so using my Girl Scout's unique online link (through Digital Cookie or Fall Product M2 site).
Rewards
- I understand that rewards are based on verified product sales and are subject to council guidelines.
- I understand that reward selections must be submitted by established deadlines through my Girl Scout's Product Program online platform.
- I understand that Product Program Credits (Cookie Cash or Cashew Cash) will be chosen if my Girl Scout's reward selection is not completed.
- I understand that under no circumstance can my Girl Scouts rewards be traded or reassigned to another Girl Scout or non-qualifying person.
Communication
- I agree to maintain communication with my troop's Product Program Volunteer regarding product orders, inventory, payments, and deadlines.
- I understand that it is my responsibility to respond to requests for information in a timely manner.
Acknowledgement

I have read and understand the responsibilities outlined above. I agree to follow the policies and procedures established by Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan and my troop.
