2026 Swim NS Open Water Event #2 Registration Form
Swim Nova Scotia will be hosting our first Open Water Event of the season on Thursday August 6th at Long Lake in Halifax (rain or shine).

Registration closes on Monday August 3rd at 11:59pm Atlantic Standard Time. This event is open to all Swim NS Members & Non-Members.

Cost: $25.00 Swim NS members, $30.00 Non-Members (payment must be made in advance)

Advance payment by e-transfer: swimming@sportnovascotia.ca (use password 'swimming')

Race Distances: 1km (11 & Over); 3km (13 & Over); 5km (13 & Over)

Race Start Times: ~6:00pm- 5km; ~6:05pm- 3km; ~6:10pm- 1km

Participant Safety Briefing: ~5:45pm

Participant Check-In: 5:15-5:40pm

Course Cut-Off: 8:00pm (all participants must be out of the water)
