Battle of Pleasant Hill School Day 2027

The Battle of Pleasant Hill Reenactment Committee would like to invite you and your students to our annual Education Day held on Friday, April 16, 2027. Please note that this event is structured for grades 6th-12th(***Exception- homeschool groups).School day will begin at 10:00 A.M. Please plan to arrive by 9:45A.M. since rotations will begin promptly at10:00A.M. However, please do not arrive before 9:30AM, since there are no activities available prior to the Education Day start time. There is no charge for the students or parents on School Day. Bring a lunch, and plan to spend the day! Our last rotation will begin at 12:45 P.M. Students will be able to enjoy lunch and visit camps once the last rotation ends. Students will rotate through approximately 15-minute learning stations. We will be adding new and exciting stations to the rotations this year in addition to fan favorites from last year. Some of the stations offered include Civil War medicine, infantry discussion, artillery demonstration, flags of the war, and more! Groups should provide AT LEAST one chaperone for every 20 students attending. Please DO NOT unload students at Battlefield Hall. In effort to keep all attendees safe, students should not be allowed to cross the highway. Buses will turn into the Pleasant Hill Battle Park near the intersection of Hwy 177and be directed to parking. From there, attendees will walk down the battlefield toward the encampment for Education Day activities. Our Education Day is sure to be both fun and educational, and a field trip your students won’t forget!
