What your results mean - While there is no numerical cut off score, there are certain values that indicate ADHD in adults. The first 6 questions are considered the most important for screening. Did you choose "often" or "very often" on 4 of those first 6 questions? If so, you would be a good candidate to complete a full psycholgocial evaluation with one of our proivders. A total score of 40 higher could indicate the presence of ADHD. Once again, this is a screening tool only. Only a licensed provider can diagnose ADHD.
We would like to share with you our science backed method of diagnosing ADHD.
1) Visit with one of our quailfied provider for a full psychiatric evaluation (in office or telehealth).
2) Complete an in office ADHD test.
3) Have a follow up visit with our provider to go over ther results. At this appointment we will dicuss the use of certain medications to treat ADHD if necessary.
