SG&A 2027 Funding Request Form

To streamline the annual planning process and improve visibility into SG&A investments, we have consolidated all funding requests into a single submission form for 2027.

This includes trade shows, customer events, sponsorships, membership dues, and other SG&A-funded initiatives. By capturing these requests early, we can more accurately build the 2027 Annual Operating Plan (AOP), ensure appropriate budget allocation, prioritize investments, and align funding with our strategic business objectives.

PLEASE NOTE:

Important: All funding requests submitted through this process must be planned and budgeted within the SG&A budget. These expenses should not be included in Trade Promotion Management (TPM), Trade, Customer, or any other departmental budgets—even if they have been funded through those sources in previous years. Standardizing these expense types under SG&A provides greater financial visibility, improves budget accuracy, and ensures consistent reporting across the organization.

SUBMISSION DUE DATE: FRIDAY, AUGUST 21ST, 2026

This is the ONLY opportunity to submit funding requests for the 2027 budget cycle. All anticipated funding needs should be included as part of this process so they can be evaluated and (if approved) incorporated into the Annual Operating Plan. Requests that are not submitted during this planning window will not receive funding or approval after the 2027 budget has been finalized.

Funding Request Definitions:

Trade Show: We have a booth and/or sampling
An event where TBG is exhibiting and/or providing product sampling. Requests should include all anticipated costs required to execute the event, including registration fees, booth space, exhibit expenses, and other associated trade show costs.

Customer Event: We attend a specific customer event but do not exhibit/sample
A customer-hosted event that TBG attends but does not exhibit or conduct product sampling at. Requests should include costs directly associated with participation in a specific customer event.

Sponsorship: We provide funding, but not for a specific customer event
Financial support provided to a customer initiative not tied to a specific event, a non-customer organization or initiative, or a charitable organization. This includes sponsorships intended to build brand awareness, strengthen relationships, or support community engagement.

Membership Dues: Annual organization memberships
Annual or recurring fees required for TBG to maintain corporate membership in a professional organization, industry association, chamber of commerce, or trade association.
