    Paws Across Connecticut is a community outreach initiative founded by Arshae Campbell of Shae’s Holistic Pet Care with a mission to provide complimentary professional grooming services to Connecticut dogs and families who genuinely need a helping hand.

    Through the generosity of professional volunteer groomers across Connecticut, we hope to help dogs belonging to senior citizens, low-income households, individuals and families experiencing hardship, as well as shelter, rescue, and foster dogs in need.

    You may nominate your own dog or a dog belonging to someone else.

    If you are nominating someone else, please respect their privacy. The dog's owner or authorized caretaker must provide permission before grooming services can be scheduled.

    Please understand that submitting a nomination does not guarantee selection or complimentary grooming services. The number of dogs we can help depends on volunteer availability, location, the dog's grooming needs, size, temperament, and whether an appropriately equipped volunteer groomer is available.

    Paws Across Connecticut provides grooming assistance—not veterinary care. If a dog is experiencing a medical emergency, severe pain, difficulty breathing, significant bleeding, or another urgent health concern, please contact a veterinarian immediately.
