The CSO is holding auditions for its Chorus. To apply please complete the below application form. Application submissions close on 7 August 2026.

Audition Requirements
Candidates will be required to present the following excerpt for your vocal part (soprano, alto, tenor, or bass).
- Verdi’s Requiem: Libera me, from Bar 179 to Bar 219
Please note that piano accompaniment will be provided, and you will be auditioning with the CSO’s Chorusmaster.

Auditions are only available to those located within the Australian Capital Territory and surrounding areas.

Auditions will take place on the following dates and times:

Auditions will consist of a single 15 minute session and applicants must be available for the full time frame listed above.

Applicants will be notified of their audition time by the 10 Aug 2026
