  • Winter Training Programme

We're delighted to be offering 10 days of winter training across 5 weekends, running from November to March. Whether you're looking to sharpen your racing skills, build confidence, or simply enjoy more time on the water, this programme is a great way to keep sailing throughout the winter.

    Who is this programme for?

To get the most from the training, sailors should have completed at least one season of coached regatta sailing. Winter conditions can be more challenging, so this programme is designed for sailors who already have a solid foundation and are ready to continue developing their racing and boat-handling skills.

We understand that everyone has different commitments, so we've designed the programme to be as flexible as possible.

Choose the training days that work best for you.
Attend as many sessions as your schedule allows.
To get the most from the programme, we recommend aiming to attend at least 8 of the 10 training days. However, every session you attend will help you develop your skills and confidence.
    Why attend more sessions?

Regular attendance gives you the best opportunity to:

Develop your sailing skills through consistent coaching and practice.
Build confidence by sailing in a range of winter conditions.
Form stronger friendships and become part of a supportive training group.
Maintain your fitness and keep your sailing progressing throughout the winter.
Our aim is to provide a place for everyone who wants to take part. If demand exceeds the spaces available on certain training days, we may need to manage numbers. In those circumstances, a sailor's overall commitment to the programme may be considered as one of the factors when allocating places.

We're looking forward to another fantastic winter of sailing. Choose the dates that suit you, sign up early, and join us for a fun, rewarding season on the water!
