Participation in field tours associated with the Georgia Regional Meeting hosted by the Utility Arborist Association involves travel and outdoor activities that may present certain risks. Please read the following waiver carefully before agreeing.
I, the undersigned, acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in a field tour associated with the Georgia Regional Meeting held on August 25, 2026
I understand that participation in these activities may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:
Walking on uneven or natural terrain
Exposure to weather conditions (including rain, heat, cold, or wind)
Transportation to and from tour locations in private vehicles
Interaction with equipment, facilities, or natural environments
Physical exertion or fatigueExposure to the elements includeing plants, wildlife, and sun exposure
I acknowledge that these risks may result in injury, illness, property damage, or other unforeseen circumstances.
In consideration of being allowed to participate, I agree to the following:
Assumption of Risk
I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in the field tour.
Release of Liability
I release and hold harmless the Utility Arborist Association (UAA), organizers, sponsors, partners, venue operators, and tour providers, along with their officers, employees, volunteers, and agents, from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from my participation.
Health & Fitness
I certify that I am physically able to participate in these activities and have no medical conditions that would prevent my safe participation.
Compliance with Instructions
I agree to follow all safety instructions provided by tour leaders, staff, and guides.
Personal Responsibility
I understand that I am responsible for bringing appropriate clothing and footwear, including but not limited to boots and weather-appropriate attire.
Transportation Acknowledgment
If transportation is provided, I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating and accept any associated risks.
Photography & Media
I understand that photographs or video may be taken during the field tours and may be used for promotional purposes by UAA.
