TUITION
Professional private music instructors typically adhere to the studio policy of tuition payment, cancellation, and make-up lesson guidelines. To present you with this high caliber of music instruction, our teaching staff must be fairly compensated for their time. These guidelines are set in place to help the studio run smoothly, so that instructors can focus on teaching, ensuring consistency and quality of study for all students. As a student with a reserved, weekly lesson, you are enrolled in the studio, much as you would be in a school or college. It is very important that you make a commitment to your instructor and make every effort to maintain excellent attendance.
Lessons with all of our instructors are $38.50 per 30-minute lesson.
- Lessons are billed one month in advance and payments will be pulled on the 20th of each month.
- Either 4 or 5 lessons charged per month; refer to the studio calendar for any exceptions.
- Regular lessons are held and billed according to the published studio calendar. The calendar is posted on the School of the Arts website, in the SOTA hall, and each instructor's room.
- Lessons will be suspended if payment is not received before the first lesson of the month.
- Changes to the lesson slot or payment information needs to be communicated prior to the 15th of the month in order to process the correct change for the following month's lessons.
- Payments are processed through ACH. The payment will be pulled on the 20th of each month for the following month. In order to streamline our system and minimize processing fees, we do not accept credit card payment.
We Reserve the Right to Dismiss Any Student(s) for the following reasons:
- Payment problems, including late payments, incorrect amounts, etc.
Poor attendance, insufficient effort, or poor attitude.

INSTRUCTORS
Our instructors go through the highest level of scrutiny. They must possess a proven track record for teaching beginner, intermediate, and advanced students.
- Each instructor has received a background check by Pathfinder School of the Arts, and parents/guardians have the option of being in the room with their child during the lesson.
- School of the Arts reserves the right to reassign a student to a different instructor in exceptional circumstances. Such as; personality differences, an instructor leaving, etc.
- In special cases, a parent/guardian may be asked to attend lessons if an instructor requires it.
School of the Arts is not responsible for students or children left unattended either before or after the lesson.
RECITALS
Two recitals are held each year for ALL students, no matter their skill level. We highly encourage our students to perform in our recitals to showcase what they have been working on, to build their confidence both on stage and off, as well as to provide families to be part of their student’s music journey.
