We already know most refrigerant never gets recovered and sent to reclaim. Industry-wide it's about 3%, and we just want to know: what would really make recovery rates climb?
We’re not looking to catch anyone or wag a finger. It's a judgment-free (and EPA-free) zone. Your answers can be anonymous. If you want to participate for a chance to win a recovery machine, be sure to fill out your name and email.
What do we mean by "recover"? The whole job: pulling the charge into a certified recovery cylinder and turning it in or sending it on for reclaim. Not venting it. Not bleeding it off on the way to the next call. Not just parking it in a tank you'll reuse tomorrow, next week, or next year.
