Colorado voters will soon be asked to weigh in on policies targeting transgender youth and immigrants during the November 2026 election. These are misleading and don't reflect the values Coloradans hold dear: fairness, freedom, and the belief that everyone should have the chance to live their lives without government interference.
The three initiatives:
- Amendment 81 would overturn existing state law and mandate that law enforcement notify ICE about a person’s immigration status.
- Proposition 134 would ban transgender youth from playing on school sports teams alongside their classmates, regardless of age.
- Proposition 135 would override Colorado parents and their children's doctors by restricting access to gender-affirming medical care that experts recognize as safe and effective.
