Rocket Grant ~ Application

Please fill out this Application to apply for a Rocket Grant from Anacostia Trails Heritage Area. Grants must be non-capital in nature and be matched 1:1 with non-state funds. Applicants may request between $1000 and $5000.

ATHA staff reviews all grant applications based on relevance and impact to cultural tourism efforts in Prince George's County, Maryland and in alignment with the three-tenants of the Maryland Heritage Area Authority strategic areas of Heritage Tourism, Community Enhancement, Sustainability.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis starting in Fall. Descisions are typically made within 3 weeks. Awards are made until all grant funds are exhausted.

If awarded, ATHA will contact the applicant via email or phone. A signed grant agreement will be required. Upon signing of the grant agreement, ATHA will release 75% to 100% of the funds. Any remaining funds will be release upon receipt of a complete Final Report. All fields are required unless otherwise noted. Thank you!

This grant requires a 1:1 match. The match can be completely in-kind. In-kind expenses included donated supplies or services, discounted services, and/or volunteer hours. Your match CANNOT derive from the State of Maryland. You must include this budget tempalate in the application.
