LIMITED LIABILITY STATEMENT FOR SAGE ON THE GO PROGRAMS

In consideration of hosting a SAGE on The Go program, the undersigned school or organization agrees to the following:

The school or organization acknowledges that SAGE on The Go provides educational, hands-on STEAM programming designed to engage students in learning about soil, energy production, sustainability, agriculture, and computer programming. While SAGE on The Go staff will take reasonable precautions to provide a safe and engaging learning environment, participation in interactive educational activities involves inherent risks.

The school or organization agrees to provide appropriate supervision of participating students throughout the program and to inform SAGE on The Go before the event of any relevant medical, behavioral, accessibility, or safety needs so that reasonable accommodations can be discussed and arranged when feasible.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the school or organization agrees to release, hold harmless, and indemnify the SAGE Center, SAGE on The Go, the Port of Morrow, and their employees, volunteers, sponsors, partners, and representatives from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from or related to the SAGE on The Go program, except where prohibited by law.

Unless the school or organization notifies SAGE on The Go in writing before the event, permission is granted for the SAGE Center and SAGE on The Go to photograph or record program activities for educational, promotional, and informational purposes. The school or organization agrees to communicate any applicable student media restrictions before the event.

If any provision of this agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

By signing below, the undersigned certifies that they are authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf of the school or organization, have read and understood this Acknowledgement of Risk and Limited Liability Agreement, and voluntarily agree to its terms.
During SAGE on The Go activities, photographs or videos may be taken for educational or promotional purposes.
