1. Scope of Work & Creative Services
The Producer's role is strictly focused on the creative and technical side of your music. This includes providing professional execution and guidance regarding:
- Song Structure: Shaping the flow, arrangement, and timing of your tracks.
- Signature Sound Identification: Helping you find and polish your unique musical style.
- Vocal Polishing: Tuning, timing adjustments, and audio cleaning to make sure your performance sounds its best.
- Mixing & Mastering: Balancing levels, applying technical effects, and finalizing the overall audio to meet industry standards.
2. Payment & Deliverables
All project fees cover the Producer's professional time, physical labor, studio equipment assets, and creative expertise. Payment guarantees the delivery of industry-standard, high-quality final audio files as agreed upon for the project.
3. No Commercial Guarantees
While these creative services are designed to maximize the competitive quality and artistic readiness of your music, the commercial music market is highly unpredictable. The Producer is a creative collaborator, not a marketing agency, publicist, or record label. By signing this agreement, you explicitly acknowledge and agree that the Producer is not legally or financially responsible for how your project is received by the public, its commercial reach, or its impact on your career. Specifically, the Producer does not guarantee and is NOT responsible for the following items below:
FAME & VIRALITY
Achieving viral status, public recognition, online trends, or overnight stardom.
RECORD DEALS
Securing record label signings, A&R meetings, or industry management contracts.
STREAMS & METRICS
Reaching specific play counts, download numbers, or listener metrics on platforms like Spotify or Apple Music.
SOCIAL MEDIA GROWTH
Increases in followers, engagement rates, or online platform traction.
PLAYLIST PLACEMENTS
Securing spots on editorial, independent, or algorithmic playlists.
FINANCIAL RETURNS
Any specific income, career longevity, or specific financial milestones in the industry.
4. Artist Ownership & Responsibility
The Artist retains 100% ownership and control over their career path, branding, and marketing efforts. Public reception relies entirely on external factors—such as promotional budgets, marketing execution, social media strategy, and shifting audience tastes—all of which sit completely outside of the Producer's control.
5. Beat Sourcing & Licensing
The Producer may assist you in discovering, sourcing, or selecting beats and instrumentals to help develop your sound. However, the Producer does not own or provide the commercial rights to these third-party beats. Important Note on Licensing: The Artist is solely responsible for purchasing, leasing, and securing the proper legal licenses for any beats used in the project. The Artist must cover all costs associated with these third-party licenses. Recording over a beat does not grant automatic ownership or distribution rights.
6. Acceptance of Terms
By signing below, you agree that you have read, understood, and accepted all the terms listed above. You acknowledge that you are paying for creative production labor and audio files, not a guaranteed commercial result.
