  • We are pleased to announce our fourth mission trip in 2026 to Melbourne, Australia and would like to extend an invitation to you! Our overseas business mission trips aim to empower and enable our valued members to explore business and investment opportunities through:

    • Learning about the market conditions and gaining insights of the country’s FinTech and Financial Services ecosystem.
    • Understanding the regulatory framework through meetings with regulators, agencies, and lawyers.
    • Attending business networking/matching sessions with partners, FIs and other FinTech companies to explore opportunities and establish connections.

    At a Glance

    • Event Duration: 5 days.
    • Date: 31st August to 4th September 2026 (Participants are expected to arrive on 30th August; Hotel checkouts are on 5th Sept).
    • Audience: FIs, FinTech companies, VCs, Consultants.
    • Formats: Roundtable, workshops, networking, meetings.

    Objectives

    • Explore Australia's vibrant financial ecosystem, business environment, market conditions and government incentives and support.
    • Understand how to set up business in Australia, the do’s and don’ts, tax and other rules, etc.

    Programme: 

    1. 31st Aug to 2nd Sept: A curated three-day program that includes meeting banks, government investment agencies, FinTechs and a leading law firm, and a potential innovation-hub/ecosystem session.
      • A target institution mix tailored to the delegation.
      • a 15–20 minute networking window built into every session for card exchange and follow-up.
      • 2nd September (part of Intersekt): Networking Global Pitch Night + Mixer: Delegates can apply to pitch at their flagship Global Pitch Night, showcasing their product and capabilities to the local fintech ecosystem, banks, financial institutes, investors etc.

    2. 3rd and 4th Sept: Attending Intersekt, Australia's leading Fintech Festival.
    • 3rd September: Intersekt Conference + Welcome Drinks - Full conference access plus the official Welcome Drinks event.
    • 4th September: Intersekt Conference + International Delegates Dinner - Full conference access, plus a curated dinner hosted by FinTech Australia with a targeted invite list of banks, investors, regulators, and relevant partners.

    Exact agenda will be confirmed at a later date. Potential companies include:

    • Melbourne-headquartered banks (ANZ, NAB)
    • A major insurer / financial institution
    • Government investment agencies (Invest Victoria and Investment NSW)

    - Includes items such as venue rentals, marketing, consultancy fees, and on-ground logistics.

    - Includes non-grant supported items such as hotel accommodation, mission gifts, communications, courier, manpower costs, recce trip costs, pre & post-mission activities.

    • The Host Patron tier is a premium partnership category for Singapore FinTech Association (SFA) business missions, designed for organisations seeking a leadership role and maximum strategic visibility in overseas market engagements.
    • As a Host Patron, your company gets positioned at the forefront of the delegation, with prominent branding across all mission trip marketing materials, and benefit from priority introductions and pitching slots to stakeholders, ensuring that your business objectives are met.
    • This tier is ideal for organisations looking to accelerate partnerships and establish a strong presence in new markets.

    C. FOR SFA NON CORPORATE MEMBERS/OTHERS:

    With hotel accommodation (inclusive of 9% GST) $9205/pax
    Without hotel accommodation (inclusive of 9% GST) $7025/pax

     

    Package includes:

    1. Hotel accommodation for 6 nights (where chosen) - Check in on 30th Aug and Check out on 5th Sept.
    2. Intersekt Admission ticket.

    Important Note:

    • Grant is available only to eligible companies. Please see the form below for eligibility criteria.
    • Grant is subject to EnterpriseSG’s approval.
    • Full trip fee will be payable upfront, grant subsidy will be reimbursed after the trip, upon approval by EnterpriseSG.
    • Only two individuals per company are eligible for EnterpriseSG grant.
    • All expenses other than those stated above are to be borne by participants. Participants are to arrange their own flight/transport to and from Melbourne.

    Terms & Conditions: Participation and Payment

    • Participation is strictly on a first come first serve basis.
    • A maximum of 2 (two) participants per company are eligible to claim reimbursement under the LEAD grant, if eligible.
    • No limit on number of participants per company.
    • Payment details will be advised to all registrants via email.
