    Saturday 29th of August 2026

  • If you've taken a walk/ride along the Casino to Bentley Rail Trail in the last 12 months, you will likely have noticed the fabulous environmental works occurring either side of the trail in the Naughtons gap area. Over 5000 trees, shrubs and native grasses have been planted since October 2024 and they are beginning to show their potential to provide habitat and future shade for those using the Rail Trail.

We are keen to expand on this planting; however, it is important to ensure good maintenance of what has already been done before advancing further. We are putting a call out for a session of hand weeding around previously planted trees.

WE WELCOME ALL WHO LOVE THE RAIL TRAIL
