WHAT IS THE FINE ARTS STUDENT ALLIANCE (FASA)? 

FASA is the official accredited student association comprised of all students enrolled in a Major or Specialization within Fine Arts at Concordia University.

The executive team of 5 that makes up FASA are appointed undergraduate Fine Arts student representatives that advocate for and provide programming + resources to the Fine Arts student body.

Our goal is to encourage the educational, social, artistic, recreational and political interests of the undergraduate Fine Arts students within and beyond the University.

WHY BE A FASA VOLUNTEER? WHAT DOES THAT INVOLVE?

FASA has events year round, so we always need volunteers to help with set up, take down, manage food/drink tables, greet students, and support the organizers with event specific tasks.

Some seasons are busier than others (like Orientation in the Fall semester), but there is never a time when volunteers are not valued and appreciated. 

Here is a list of events volunteers would be asked to help with:

• Film Screenings
• Art Markets + Fairs
• Workshops + Collective Creations 
• Indoor + Outdoor Community Gatherings 
• Vernissages 
• Open Mics + Concerts

SAFETY + CONSENT

FASA is committed to prioritizing the safety and comfort of everyone involved in our events as volunteers, guests, contributors, and staff. 

As a FASA volunteer, you are well within your right to express what you can and cannot do while volunteering at any of our events. 

Additionally, as part of FASA's Data Retention Policy, we will delete all application data after a year.
