  • TRU Youth Ambassador Application 2026-2027 School Year

  • Introduction

  • During the 2026-2027 school year, Pennsylvania's Tobacco Resistance Unit (TRU) will help conduct various advocacy and educational campaigns. TRU invites its members to apply to be TRU Youth Ambassadors to serve as leaders in these efforts.

  • Requirements for being a TRU Ambassador:

    • Be passionate about tobacco-free lifestyles
    • Participate in and lead monthly TRU conference calls
    • Organize and take part in TRU Storms and other Ambassador projects
    • Attend Day at the Capitol (if applicable)
    • Remain engaged in the Ambassador program throughout the school year
    • Be ready to make a change!

    • Opportunity for an end-of-the-year scholarship
    • Being a part of an important statewide tobacco control initiative
