  • Equipment & Crew Request Form

    Please use this form to enquire about booking equipment and Crew staff support from LUSU Events. With a stock of gazebos, extensive range of sound and lighting equipment, festival decor, experienced Crew team and more; we help to bring all kinds of events to life in Lancaster and the surrounding areas.

  • Our team is here to help supply the equipment and crew you need to make events happen.

    How the Booking Process Works

    1. Submit Your Request: Fill out the details of your event using the form below.
    2. Review & Estimate: A Crew Supervisor will review your submission and reach out if we have any clarifying questions. Once we have all the necessary details, we will put together a Job Estimate outlining the expected costs for your hire.
    3. Confirmation: If you are happy with the provided estimate, we will send over a Booking Agreement form for you to complete. Once that is signed, your booking is officially confirmed!

    Our Pricing

    We strive to keep our services as accessible and affordable as possible:

    • Internal Hires (Societies, Clubs, SU Departments, JCRs): These bookings operate strictly at cost. You will only ever be charged for the crew time incurred to support your hire.
    • External Hires: For external or non-student-union bookings, we apply a small hire fee. This fee goes directly toward the upkeep and maintenance of our equipment.

  • Gazebos / Power

    We have a small stock of purple-topped LUSU Events gazebos. We will install and derig gazebos for you along with the necessary weights. Hard ground is usually preferred. We have 3x3m (single) and 3x6m (double) options.

  • Please specify whether you require power, and if so what power is required and what will be plugged in.

  • Sound & Lighting Equipment

    We have a range of equipment for sound & lighting solutions suitable for live music, conferencing, performances and much more.

  • In order to handle our equipment, we require at least one member of staff trained by LUSU Events present. If not, we will provide Crew support.

  • Do you have a LUSU trained person for setting up, operating and taking down the equipment?*

  • Crew Support

    We can provide Crew Member support with a range of tasks from lifting and shifting, to rigging equipment and operating desks. Please provide as much detail as possible.
