• Mentor Application

For Mentors and Mentees Confidentiality All conversations between mentors and mentees must remain strictly confidential. This includes discussions about personal, professional, or academic matters, challenges, and shared experiences. Mentors and mentees should not share specific or identifying third-party information without explicit consent from the other party. Respect and Professionalism Mentors and mentees are expected to always interact with respect, professionalism, and empathy. Differences in opinions or experiences should be approached with an open mind and consideration. Boundaries Mentors and mentees should mutually agree on communication frequency, preferred channels, and discussion topics. Both parties should respect each other’s time and commitments, ensuring clear and respectful communication about availability. Integrity and Honesty All participants must commit to honesty and transparency during discussions. Mentees are encouraged to ask questions and seek advice openly. Mentors should provide genuine, constructive, and truthful guidance. Feedback and Growth Mentees should be open to receiving feedback from mentors and use it as an opportunity for growth. Mentors should offer guidance in a supportive and non-judgmental manner, encouraging development and professional success. By participating in the Sarita and Claire Wright Lucas Foundation’s Mentorship Program, I agree to uphold these principles and foster a safe and supportive environment for personal and professional growth.
