As program participants with Northern Colorado Wildlife Center (NCWC), I acknowledge and agree to the following terms regarding my participation in volunteer activities:
1. Assumption of Risk
I understand that particpating in this program with NCWC may involve participating in outdoor activities and being around live animals. I acknowledge that these activities may have inherent risks, including but not limited to, animal bites or scratches, allergic reactions, and environmental hazards. I assume full responsibility for my participation and any associated risks.
2. Medical Treatment Authorization
In the event of an injury or medical emergency involving me while participating in NCWC activities, I authorize NCWC staff to provide first aid and, if necessary, seek emergency medical treatment. I understand that I am responsible for any medical costs incurred.
3. Liability Release
I hereby release and hold harmless Northern Colorado Wildlife Center, its staff, board members, and other volunteers from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from my participation in volunteer activities, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
