Pet Foster Application

By submitting this application, I understand and agree to the following: * All animals placed in my care remain the legal property of the rescue until an adoption has been finalized or ownership has been transferred in writing. * I will provide appropriate food, shelter, supervision, and appropriate daily care for the foster animal and notify the rescue immediately of any illness, injury, behavioral concerns, or emergencies. * I understand that animals are unpredictable, and no guarantees can be made regarding their health, behavior, temperament, or compatibility with people, children, other animals, or property. * I accept full responsibility for the care and supervision of the foster animal while it is in my possession. * The rescue is not responsible for any damage to my home, property, vehicles, personal belongings, livestock, pets, or any injuries or losses that may result from fostering an animal. I assume all risks associated with fostering. * I will not sell, give away, trade, rehome, transfer, breed, or promise the foster animal to any individual or organization without prior written approval from the rescue. * I understand that any potential adopter must be approved through the rescue’s adoption process before the animal can be placed. * If I violate this agreement by selling, giving away, transferring, or otherwise disposing of a foster animal without written authorization, I understand I may be held financially responsible for reimbursing the rescue for the animal’s value, veterinary expenses, adoption fees, transportation costs, and any legal or recovery expenses incurred. * I understand that fostering is voluntary and that placement of a foster animal is not guaranteed. The rescue reserves the right to remove an animal from my care at any time if it is determined to be in the animal’s best interest. * I agree to return the foster animal immediately upon request by the rescue.
