    Event Safety & Liability Waiver By participating in the 5K Color Run, I acknowledge and agree to the following: • Participation in this event is completely voluntary. • I understand that running/walking in this event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, weather-related conditions, and physical exertion. • I certify that I am physically able to participate in this event and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional. • I agree to follow all rules, instructions, and safety guidelines provided by event organizers and volunteers. Assumption of Risk I knowingly and freely assume all risks, both known and unknown, associated with my participation in this event. Release of Liability In consideration of being allowed to participate in the 5K Color Run, I hereby release, waive, and discharge Walnut Grove Baptist Church, the Stewart County Cancer Society, event organizers, sponsors, volunteers, and any affiliated parties from any and all liability for injuries, damages, or losses that may occur before, during, or after the event. I agree that no individual or organization associated with this event shall be held liable for any injury, illness, damage, or loss of personal property. Medical Consent In the event of an emergency, I authorize event staff or volunteers to obtain medical treatment on my behalf if I am unable to do so, and I accept full responsibility for any costs incurred. Photo Release I grant permission for event organizers to use photographs or videos taken during the event for promotional purposes without compensation.

  • Payments may be made conveniently through Venmo. Please send your payment to @WGBC-Outreach. In the payment description, include your name so we can match your payment with your registration form.

    We are also working to establish local registration and payment drop-off locations. Those locations will be announced soon, giving you the option to register and pay in person if you prefer.
