  • Terms and Conditions of Employment Onboarding

    Declaration, Consent and Acknowledgement

    1. Declaration of Information

    I declare that all information, answers, documents and supporting materials I provide as part of this onboarding process are true, accurate, complete and not misleading to the best of my knowledge.

    I confirm that I have not knowingly withheld any information that may be relevant to my employment, onboarding, licensing, qualifications, right to work, insurance, workplace safety, fitness for work, or ability to perform the inherent requirements of the role.

    I understand that N&P Contracting Pty Ltd, part of ARA Electrical, may rely on the information I provide when assessing my suitability for employment, assigning duties, managing employment records, arranging insurance, meeting legal obligations and managing workplace health and safety.

    I understand that providing false, incomplete or misleading information, or withholding relevant information, may result in the withdrawal of an offer of employment, changes to my duties, disciplinary action or termination of employment, subject to applicable law.

    2. Collection and Use of Personal Information

    I consent to N&P Contracting Pty Ltd collecting, using, storing and retaining my personal information for purposes connected with my employment and onboarding.

    This may include information relating to:

    • identity and contact details;
    • emergency contacts;
    • banking, payroll, taxation and superannuation;
    • right to work;
    • licences, tickets, qualifications and competencies;
    • driving history and vehicle use;
    • role, location and employment classification;
    • health, medical or fitness-for-work information where relevant to the role;
    • travel, mobilisation or visa-related information where applicable;
    • insurance, compliance, safety and employment administration.

    I understand that some information may be sensitive information, including health information. I consent to N&P Contracting Pty Ltd collecting and handling that information where it is reasonably necessary for employment, safety, insurance, compliance, role suitability, travel, mobilisation, visa evidence or legal purposes.

    3. Disclosure to Third Parties

    I consent to N&P Contracting Pty Ltd disclosing relevant personal information to third parties where reasonably necessary for employment, onboarding, insurance, compliance, risk management, payroll, safety, travel, mobilisation or operational purposes.

    This may include disclosure to:

    • insurers, underwriters or claims managers;
    • payroll, banking, taxation and superannuation service providers;
    • training, licensing or competency verification providers;
    • occupational health, rehabilitation or fitness-for-work providers;
    • travel, accommodation or mobilisation providers where required;
    • visa, immigration or right-to-work support providers where applicable;
    • legal, accounting, auditing or professional advisers;
    • government or regulatory bodies where required or authorised by law;
    • ARA Electrical, ARA Group entities, authorised managers, supervisors or internal personnel.

    Where my role involves driving, operating, supervising, inspecting, transporting, maintaining or being associated with vehicles, mobile plant, trailers, equipment or insured assets, I consent to relevant driving, licence, incident, infringement and insurance-related information being disclosed to N&P Contracting’s insurance brokers, insurers, underwriters, claims managers and other relevant insurance parties.

    4. Health Disclosure and Fitness for Work

    I acknowledge that N&P Contracting Pty Ltd has workplace health and safety obligations and may need information that is reasonably necessary to determine whether I can safely perform the inherent requirements of my role.

    I declare that I have disclosed any injury, illness, medical condition, impairment, medication effect, restriction, limitation or other health-related matter that may reasonably affect:

    • my ability to safely perform the duties outlined in the position description;
    • my ability to perform the inherent requirements of the role;
    • my ability to operate vehicles, mobile plant, tools, equipment or machinery;
    • my ability to work safely in the relevant work environment;
    • the safety of myself, co-workers, customers, contractors, patients, clinical staff or members of the public;
    • any reasonable adjustment, restriction, medical clearance or risk control that may be required.

    I understand that I am not required to disclose unrelated health information that has no bearing on my ability to safely perform the role. However, I acknowledge that failing to disclose a relevant health matter may affect N&P Contracting Pty Ltd’s ability to assess suitability, manage risk, make reasonable adjustments or meet safety obligations.

    I agree to notify N&P Contracting Pty Ltd as soon as reasonably practicable if my health, fitness for work, licence status, medication, restrictions or work capacity change in a way that may affect my ability to safely perform my duties.

    5. Licences, Qualifications and Competencies

    I acknowledge that providing current and accurate copies of relevant licences, tickets, permits, qualifications, certificates and competencies is a condition of performing work that requires those credentials.

    I understand that N&P Contracting Pty Ltd may verify, record and monitor those documents.

    I understand that N&P Contracting Pty Ltd may restrict, suspend or prevent me from performing certain duties if required documents are not provided, are expired, are invalid, or do not satisfy the requirements of the role, client, project, regulator or site.

    I agree to immediately notify N&P Contracting Pty Ltd if any licence, qualification, ticket, permit, certification or authorisation required for my role is suspended, cancelled, restricted, expired, disqualified or otherwise changed.

    6. Driving, Vehicles and Insurance

    Where my role involves driving, operating, towing, transporting, loading, unloading, supervising or otherwise being involved with company vehicles, hired vehicles, trailers, mobile plant, equipment or insured assets, I consent to N&P Contracting Pty Ltd collecting and using relevant driving, licence, incident, infringement, insurance and risk-related information.

    I understand that failing to provide accurate driving-related information may affect my ability to operate vehicles, mobile plant or equipment, or to perform certain duties.

    7. Handbook, Policies and Procedures

    I acknowledge that I have received, or been given access to, the N&P Contracting Employee Handbook and relevant company policies, procedures, standards, safe work procedures, forms and employment-related documents.

    I agree to comply with all lawful and reasonable policies, procedures, directions and workplace requirements issued by N&P Contracting Pty Ltd, ARA Electrical, or relevant authorised representatives.

    I understand that company policies, procedures and related documents may be updated, replaced or withdrawn from time to time.

    I acknowledge that current controlled versions are maintained through the nominated company system, intranet, document control platform, SharePoint site, WHS system or other approved location.

    I understand that printed copies are uncontrolled unless expressly marked otherwise.

    8. Record Retention

    I consent to N&P Contracting Pty Ltd retaining my onboarding records, employment records, personal information, licence records, qualification records, driving records, health-related disclosures where relevant, and other employment-related information for as long as reasonably required.

    This may include retention after my employment ends where required or permitted for legal, payroll, taxation, insurance, workers compensation, audit, dispute, safety, compliance, claims management or record-keeping purposes.

    9. Access, Correction and Updates

    I understand that I may request access to, or correction of, my personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws and company procedures.

    I agree to promptly notify N&P Contracting Pty Ltd of any change to my personal, contact, emergency contact, banking, superannuation, taxation, licence, qualification, right to work, health-related fitness-for-work or other employment-related information.

    10. Final Acknowledgement

    By signing this declaration, I confirm that:

    • I have read and understood this declaration;
    • the information I have provided is true, accurate, complete and not misleading;
    • I have not withheld any material information relevant to my employment, onboarding, safety, insurance, licensing, qualifications, competency, fitness for work or ability to perform the role;
    • I consent to the collection, use, disclosure and retention of my personal information, including sensitive or health information where relevant;
    • I understand that relevant information may be disclosed to insurers, advisers, service providers, regulators, ARA Electrical, ARA Group entities or authorised parties where reasonably necessary;
    • I acknowledge receipt of, or access to, the N&P Contracting Employee Handbook and related policies and procedures;
    • I agree to comply with all lawful and reasonable policies, procedures, directions and workplace requirements issued by N&P Contracting Pty Ltd, ARA Electrical, or relevant authorised representatives.

    Signed as an acknowledgement and declaration by the employee or prospective employee.
