    Resource Justice Network's (RJN) international secretariat is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as the Director of Programmes. 

    This is a senior leadership position responsible for strengthening programme coherence, organisational effectiveness and delivery across the Resource Justice Network Secretariat. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director sits on RJN’s Senior Leadership Team, ensures organisational priorities are translated into action, supports programme leaders to succeed, and strengthens collaboration, accountability and collective impact across a distributed Secretariat.

    This is a unique opportunity to shape the delivery of RJN's Strategy 2030 and strengthen one of the world's leading resource justice movements.

    Location: Flexible (Time Zone UTC +0 and UTC +4.)

    Contract: Full-time, permanent, 35 hours per week

    Salary and Benefits

    Salary: Adjusted for location. RJN takes a rigorous approach to salary setting and operates a remuneration scale based on global equity. RJN’s goal is that staff carrying out similar roles should have broadly equivalent standards of living and, since the cost of accommodation, goods and services can vary significantly in different countries, it is important to adjust for this when determining salaries.     Health & Pension Benefits: RJN operates a contributory pension scheme into which you will be auto-enrolled after three months’ of continuous service (subject to the conditions of the scheme). In addition to any contributions you make, RJN will make contributions of 8%. RJN also provides three types of health benefits: (i) Life Assurance, providing you with cover in the event of death in service; (ii) Long Term disability cover, providing earnings protection in the event of serious injury leaving you unable to work; and (iii) a health cash plan, which offers contributions to certain types of health treatment.

    Annual Leave: RJN provides all employees with 40 days leave, inclusive of public holidays, regardless of location.

    Other Benefits: Other benefits include generous parental leave policy, as well as contribution to eye care costs. Furthermore, RJN offers the opportunity to take a fully paid 8 week sabbatical after 5 years continuous service.
