SECTION A — GENERAL EVENT RULES
1. All vehicles must display their assigned show number while on the show field.
2. Vehicles must be in place by the published check-in deadline. Late arrivals are placed at staff discretion.
3. Engines may not be started on the show field without staff permission.
4. Burnouts, revving, or unsafe vehicle operation is strictly prohibited.
5. Participants are responsible for fluid leaks. Excessive leaks may result in removal from the show field.
6. Alcohol must be consumed in designated areas only, per Post 119 and local regulations.
7. All attendees must treat fellow participants, volunteers, and staff with courtesy. Harassment results in
immediate removal without refund.
8. Judging decisions are final. Disputes must be raised privately with the Event Lead.
9. Vehicles must remain in assigned spaces until the Event Lead announces release after the awards
ceremony. Early departure forfeits award eligibility.
10. Post 119 is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items.
11. No commercial vendor activity is permitted without prior written approval from the Event Lead.
12. Post 119 reserves the right to remove any participant who violates event rules, without refund.
SECTION B — LIABILITY RELEASE WAIVER
In consideration of being permitted to participate in the American Legion Post 119 Car & Bike Show ("Event"), the
undersigned ("Participant") agrees as follows:
ASSUMPTION OF RISK:
Participant acknowledges inherent risks including property damage, personal injury, or
death, and voluntarily assumes all such risks.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY:
Participant releases American Legion Post 119, its officers, members, volunteers,
sponsors, and agents from all claims arising out of participation in the Event.
INDEMNIFICATION:
Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Post 119 from any third-party claims
arising from Participant's actions at the Event.
PHOTO/MEDIA RELEASE:
Participant grants Post 119 the irrevocable right to photograph and publish images
of Participant and their vehicle for event and promotional use, without compensation.
GOVERNING LAW:
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California.
This waiver is binding upon the Participant and their heirs, assigns, and legal representatives.
