BLU3J 5K Registration Agreements

I hereby grant permission to the Blu3J 5K event organizers, sponsors, and their representatives to photograph, videotape, or otherwise record my participation during the event. I understand that these photographs, videos, or recordings may be used for promotional, educational, marketing, social media, or other lawful purposes without compensation or further permission. 

I understand that participation in the Blu3J 5K is a voluntary recreational activity that involves physical exertion and inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, weather conditions, traffic, road conditions, and other unforeseen hazards. I certify that I am physically fit and able to participate in this event and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional. In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Blu3J 5K, I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation and release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the event organizers, sponsors, volunteers, municipalities, property owners, public agencies, and all affiliated individuals and organizations from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, injuries, losses, expenses, or causes of action arising from or related to my participation, except where prohibited by applicable law. I understand and agree that the event organizers reserve the right to postpone, modify, or cancel the event due to inclement weather, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond their control.

I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the minor participant. I have read and understand this agreement, including the waiver and release of liability, and I voluntarily consent to my child participating in the Blu3J 5K.

By submitting this form, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to the terms above. If the participant is under 18, the parent or legal guardian completing this form provides acknowledgment and consent on the participant’s behalf.
