• CALL FOR ARTISTS

    DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 30, 2026
  • Thank you for your interest in OPAC's Creative Tides Artist-in-Residency at the Channel Islands Harbor.

Funded through the California Coastal Commission's Whale Tail Grant Program, this four-month residency invites one Ventura County artist to collaborate with Harbor staff, community members, and environmental partners to explore the relationship between art, coastal stewardship, and public engagement.

The selected artist will receive a $10,000 stipend and work alongside OPAC to develop creative experiences that celebrate and protect our coastal environment. The residency will take place in Spring 2027, with artist selection occurring in Fall 2026.
